Peregrine Guarding Services, the wholly owned subsidiary of Mortice Ltd (AIM: MORT), the AIMlisted security and facilities management company focused on India has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Government of Meghalaya State in North Eastern India for the training of candidates into the security and guarding industry and for these trainees once qualified to be deployed all over India. Under the terms of the MOU, a new facilities will be created in the state of Meghalaya for the training of candidates and after completion of this training which will be undertaken in accordance with the guidelines of the Private Security Agency Regulatory Act (2005) successful candidates will receive a Certificate of Competence from Peregrine and then assisted in securing employment across all states of India. The MOU between Peregrine and the Government of Meghalaya was signed in Shillong earlier this month between The Honourable Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma and Brigadier Rajan Oberoi, the Managing Director of Peregrine Guarding.
