Tenon Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Brigadier Rajan Oberoi as Chief Executive Officer of the Tenon Group of Companies. The Tenon Group of Companies includes Mortice’s main operating subsidiaries, Peregrine Guarding Private Limited, Tenon Property Services Private Limited, Rotopower Projects Private Limited and Tenon Property Services (Lanka) Private Limited.

As the Managing Director of Peregrine for the last five years, Brigadier Oberoi has delivered revenue growth of 29% CAGR (in INR terms) for the guarding segment of the business. He has also streamlined business and enhanced customer experience by implementing Key Account Management system within the guarding division. Brig. Oberoi is an accomplished security professional with over 34 years of experience in security related functions. While with the Indian Army, Brig. Oberoi was tasked with the responsibility to raise the first combat elements of the National Security Guards -The “Black Cats”, and subsequently went on to head this elite counter terrorist outfit as their “Force Commander”. Brigadier Oberoi’s distinguished services in diverse fields, including counter -terrorism, has earned him accolades, including the prestigious President’s Police Medal for gallantry(PPMG) and a Vishisht Seva Medal(VSM)”

Tenon Group of Companies is pleased to announce the launch of its operations in Sri Lanka through its subsidiary Tenon Property Services (Lanka) Private Limited (“Tenon Lanka”). Tenon Group of Companies announced the launch of a new proactive security surveillance company called “Soteria” based in Gurgaon, India. Soteria has the capability of providing its clients in India and around the world with an active surveillance service capable of stopping or preventing unwanted events rather than simply monitoring them passively. Using purpose designed technology and software supported by IBM & GVD, Soteria gives its clients actionable intelligence based on the continuous monitoring of a desired and defined environment and through video analysis and other sensory detection is capable of actioning a physical response to investigate or control a situation. The system is able to accept customized instructions based on specific and individual preferences and has applications for security or environmental concerns, utility management and a range of other desired services. Trials of the system have been highly successful and Soteria is now providing the service to its first customers in India and also expects to build an international presence for the service in the UK and USA

Peregrine Guarding Services, the wholly owned subsidiary of Mortice Ltd (AIM: MORT), the AIMlisted security and facilities management company focused on India has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Government of Meghalaya State in North Eastern India for the training of candidates into the security and guarding industry and for these trainees once qualified to be deployed all over India. Under the terms of the MOU, a new facilities will be created in the state of Meghalaya for the training of candidates and after completion of this training which will be undertaken in accordance with the guidelines of the Private Security Agency Regulatory Act (2005) successful candidates will receive a Certificate of Competence from Peregrine and then assisted in securing employment across all states of India. The MOU between Peregrine and the Government of Meghalaya was signed in Shillong earlier this month between The Honourable Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma and Brigadier Rajan Oberoi, the Managing Director of Peregrine Guarding.

Tenon Property Services (“Tenon”), the wholly owned subsidiary of Mortice Ltd (AIM: MORT), the AIM listed security and facilities management company with Indian focused operations is pleased to announce it has signed a cooperation agreement with Amsterdam ArenA (“Amsterdam ArenA”), the Dutch sports arena specialist to jointly maintain Indian sports infrastructure projects and to advise on training, safety, security and facility management.

The move follows an agreement, signed in Delhi by the Indian Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Jitendra Singh and the Minister for welfare and sport for the Netherlands Madam Edith Shippers who headed a trade delegation that included officials from Amsterdam ArenA. Amsterdam Arena are specialists in the development and management of sports venues all over the world and through the cooperation agreement with Tenon intend to maintain several sports infrastructure projects in India.
